Over the last few weeks I have been busy gathering together a number of mainly older pieces to populate this website with “stock”, and so far this has been progressing steadily, if not as fast as I would have liked. I must confess to being impatient and this process is a valuable life lesson in learning to go with the flow and not to rush things. That said, I have finished the long term project I have been working on over many years and the first draft is now at the printers for formatting. A family holiday will, unfortunately, push back its release a few weeks, but as it is a brass tutor book I think a small delay will not matter too much as the summer holidays are almost upon us. If you or anyone you know teaches trumpet/cornet or other brass band instruments playing from treble clef, this new beginners course will be, if you will forgive me saying so myself, one of the most useful resources available.
