I am feeling rather pleased this week as I have added my Suite for Trumpet to the Dark Horse stable of music for solo trumpet. To be honest it would probably work well for a Bb baritone or euphonium too. After a slight mishap in the ordering of the pages in the proof, which was rectified in a matter of minutes by the marvellous Sue at the printing company, the piece was ready to go to the press on Monday. I received word on Thursday that it was all done, but as yet I haven’t had an opportunity to call in and collect them. It is a funny feeling, like being late for Christmas!
