Family Comes First

Things have been very quiet on the Dark Horse front recently for reasons I will not go into. Suffice it to say there have been a lot of family related demands which have taken my attention away from the business of creating and sharing music, and as the title of this post suggests, we all have priorities in life which sometimes require us to redirect our attention from what we want to do to things we have to do. That said, I am beginning to see some light at the end of this particular tunnel as the summer holiday approaches and I am recovering a little time to devote to music once again. I have started to prepare another piece for publication, this time a work in four short movements for SATB choir with a keyboard accompaniment. It was completed over a year ago, but I have decided to add it to my catalogue of published pieces once the engraving and blurb have been formatted. If you know of a mixed choir that might be interested in showcasing new work, this 10 minute opus might be just the thing to add something new to the repertoire!
